Kids and moms have fun getting fit at Burn Boot Camp!

By Lisa Kiral ~ Owner of Burn Boot Camp Evans March 5, 2017

Burn Boot Camp, Evans, a women’s fitness facility has launched Burn Kidz, a confidence and strength building exercise platform for grades 2-8! Equalizer bear crawl, human plank hold tunnels, and a greenbay finisher were among the challenging, yet fun activities, and more than enough to wear out the young athletes at their first camp!

Burn Boot Camp, a national fitness franchise for women, was founded by former semi-pro baseball player, Devan Kline, who during his years of travelling and living with host families, discovered that busy moms rarely have time to take care of themselves. The Evans location opened in October of 2016 at 4490 Washington Road.  “Our 45 minute boot camps are designed to be convenient for busy moms and women,” said Lisa Kiral, owner of Burn Boot Camp Evans. “With free childcare, free nutrition guidance and a supportive environment of like-minded women, our clients gain back the motivation they had many years ago, and the results are dramatic!”

While Burn specializes in transforming moms, naturally their children become inspired to exercise and get fit just like their role models (moms). Therefore Burn offers Kidz Camp so healthy living can reach the kids, with the mission of ultimately ending childhood obesity. “When children see mom getting fit and taking good care of herself, they want to become strong and healthy just like her,” said Kiral.

Burn Super Heros is designed for grades 2-5, to encourage healthy self esteem through fitness and teamwork. Burn Elite, for grades 6-8, is an athletic conditioning as well as speed and agility program to help with sports performance and boost confidence for all participants, whether or not they play sports. Head Trainer Nathan Dittmer creates a fun and supportive environment where kids learn the importance of working together, getting better every day, and building each other up rather than putting others down. All fitness levels are welcome at Burn Boot Camp for kids and moms alike!

Registration for Burn Kidz is ongoing and each session lasts one month, making it easy to jump into a session between sports and other activities without a long-term commitment.
